International processing
Our providers may process personal information outside Italy and the European Economic Area. Resend stores customer data, including message content and delivery logs, in the United States.
Where applicable, international transfers are covered by the providers’ data processing terms and safeguards such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. You can contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
- General enquiries that do not become projects: Kept for up to six months, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become active client work: Correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the engagement and any applicable accounting or legal obligations.
- Spam or clearly irrelevant enquiries: Deleted sooner once identified.
Technical logs, delivery records, and backup copies may have separate retention periods under our providers’ service settings and data processing terms. Deletion from an active inbox does not necessarily remove every backup copy immediately.
